Church Groups

Youth groups, Bible studies and other church groups play important roles in our mission of "sharing the love of God in word, action and attitude while building genuine community in the neighborhoods where we live and work."

Opportunities include working in service programs (i.e. food pantries) as well as administrative functions (i.e. sorting and pricing clothing/goods to be sold to generate funds for our programs).

Other unique opportunities include volunteering at the North Texas Food Bank where your logged service hours will allow CDM to purchase food and other items used in our food pantry at a discounted rate.

One of the best ways to get started is to have a member of your group tour our agency or attend a free book club (no reading required) to learn more about our mission. Although this is not required, this will help your group to find the most appropriate place for them to get involved in our work.
